Thank you David Young This is a wonderful little Pony car, this 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible was originally built in the San Jose plant and shipping to Sacramento in 1965, the was under the custodian of just a couple owners with my client being the 3rd. He purchased the car as a base model, clean example in fantastic California condition and decided to do a full restoration on it, as seen from the picture of his purchase it was extremely well cared for, but his sights and vision were that of a fun fast slightly modified example with ample performance and options but with a clean subtle stock look. This was his goal and it was completed to his perfect satisfaction. This 1965 Ford mustang received an upgrade to the engine and is equipped with a powerful and highly dependable balanced and blue printed 302 V8 with Borg warner 5 Speed transmission. Many other upgrades were completed including 4 wheel disc brakes, Malory ignition, digital gauges, power windows which operate from the original roll up crank handles, Sound system with Bluetooth and Power antenna , new painless wiring set up, on top of all fresh components. Its suspension and ride was completely gone trough and upgraded to a Mustang II it now has smooth and comfortable coil over shocks, tubular A-arms, power steering and power brakes. The vehicle runs and drives better than new and feels amazingly comfortable at highway speeds. This is a go anywhere car!!! Its interior received a refreshing with new upholstery trimmed in Pony theme, carpet, wood trim, tinted glass, wood 3 spoke steering wheel w/tilt, and a fresh new dash. Also has a Power Top for ease of operation and it is like new!! The paint is finished in a spectacular color of Aqua Metallic and in good overall condition with some very minor chips nick etc. from typical use and age.
