The vehicle has undergone a recent and rigorous restoration to its interior, exterior and rebuild to all mechanical parts. This Cadillac is finished in its original color combination of Persian Sand and Plum interior. Correct in every way and prepared to concours standards. The vehicle has been judged as one of the best and there are no disappointments here. History on the 60 Fleetwood SpecialThe Fleetwood Sixty Special occupied a still higher rung on the Cadillac ladder. This one model series listed at $6233, and for 1960 it rode the standard 130-inch wheelbase, rather than the exclusive 133-inch stretch it had enjoyed in 1959. Although clearly intended as the most prestigious standard sedan, this six-window model wore more makeup than any other '60 Caddy. Starting on the rear door and sweeping almost to the rear bumper was a huge fake air scoop, outlined by chrome strips that shot forward to the front of the car. The taillight pods on the fins were slathered in chrome, and the hubcaps were the sportier version used on the Eldorados. The Fleetwood name stood out in block letters on the lower front fenders; three rows of jewels sparkled in the rear grille. In 1959, the memorable “Zap!” fins appeared on nearly all Cadillacs this year, including the Sixty Special. Now riding a three-inch (76 mm) shorter wheelbase (130”), the 225” long Sixty Special continued as a pillar-less hardtop with its own distinct moldings - including a side mounted dummy door air-scoop on the rear fender, and a thin chrome bead that ran from the front fender back to the rear bumper, and then forward again to the front wheel well. The finn-mounted tail light pods (which were body colored on lesser Cadillacs), were chromed. The 390 cu in (6.4 L) engine provided 325 horsepower (242 kW). Air suspension, utilizing freon-filled shock absorbers, was optional on Sixty Special.1960 saw new (shorter), rear fins, and a cleaner side-trim design, as well as a rear “grille” design shared with the Eldorado. The wheelbase remained 130 in (3,300 mm), and the $6,233 price was the same as the ‘59. New for 1960 was a standard vinyl roof covering, and the small chrome “louvers” returned (first seen
