This 1931 Model A Custom Woody Wagon is quite possibly one of the finest handcrafted creations of this marque in existence. Tastefully and Exquisitely executed Custom Restoration was done over a 3-year period in hopes to design and create one of the absolute very best, and its final product does not disappoint. The previous owner states he stopped counting at 100k in and still was only half done. This type of construction and level or quilt began as a simple idea and dream of one man a local in San Diego, California. After finding a Donor vehicle the project started with design, sketching and consults from some of the very best fabricators in this trade. Several Scaled down models were hand built, painted and perfected just to grasp an idea of what the contrasting colors would be. This careful and well thought out process invest many man hours in preparation, schematics, design with hired professional input costing into the thousands even before one piece of metal is contoured. Much like a High-end Luxury building it takes months to ensure you can create the dream and goal you’re shooting for. As you can see in the photos this custom build was fully done to the highest standards. Employing the skilled craftsman of 32 years at Wood “N” Carrs, Dan is known as to be one of the best Artisans in the field with may high profile clients in the Film and Sports industry, and specializing in supplying unique customs to the elite. Ron Mangus Interiors are said to be fitted with such care and detail the cars invite you in like grand ballroom. Paint and Fabrication was done to a beyond stunning level with of course that ‘32 Grill look, and its Wiring by Kip Dunne is perfectly laid out and concealed. Some of the more unique features include a custom-built thick gauge cage undelay in the wood body, this of which I have never seen before and on the road you can tell the difference from the first time you drive it compared to others. It offers a very solid and safe feel, and its tracks like a sports car. I have been on several Woody cruises and noticed while following another on the highway his car had a significant flaw and would literally sway at high speeds. This car simply has virtually no counteraction of the road feel, please view the video of me traveling 80mph on the highway with very little effort. It’s a dream to take out will drive like a new car, you can you handle longs trips and power tours with ease and show no signs of that exhausting feel upon destination arrival. Equipped with a 400 SBC and all the upgrades including Air Conditioning , and an unbelievable sound system is hidden from view for your cruising pleasure. Its stance is striking and fit and finish could not get any better. The custom TCI is constructed with over 4 extra inches over stock to settle the ride and accommodate all its features like IFS, Power Steering and Brakes, and a all-steel body. Dakota digital gauges calibrated just perfect and one of its most stunning features a Ron Mangus interior with finished wood throughout. Ron was awarded into the Hot Rod Hall of Fame the same year this car was displayed at the Grand National Roadster show. Upon close attention to detail, one will notice even custom wood behind the door skins that you don’t even see !! but hidden detail was finished to the expert level of the outside which speaks wonders for how throughout this build was. I cannot comment enough just how specialized this construction was not only involving some of the best hands, but even adding weekly consults amongst each other every step of the way to produce such an amazing car, that for those who know that is what is required. Do not Hesitate this vehicle will not last, there are no Disappointments!! You have a found one of the be
